I'm new to coyote hunting and looking for some tips. I have several coyotes that have been running in the back 40 and up near the house. I have a trail cam out and have caught many on camera. I have tried baiting them with dead chickens from the farm which seems to work but they don't come consistantly every night. Seems I'm either too early or too late during the night hours. Has anyone tried "Coyote Bomb" (coyote urine)...supposed to work great. My problem is where I am situated I always seem to be upwind with the chicken house vent fans blowing from behind me. I thought the stink of chickens might help mask my scent. Also I have to get the bushhog out and start clearing brush...if I do this in the morning will the smell of the fresh cut underbrush screw up my hunt at night? I appreciate some advice from all the veterans out there. Thanks ... -TC Attachments:

I would think the fresh cut brush and grass would attract coyotes. Im sure plenty of rodent will be available after a fresh cut. Have always heard farmers here saying while they cut hay the yotes come out.
